Orion Performance and Breeze Performance AIO Available with New Operating System
Irvington, New Jersey – January 10, 2013 – Touch Dynamic, a leading manufacturer of all-in-one systems and server class PC’s, recently announced that the Orion Performance and Breeze Performance AIO are now be available with Microsoft’s Windows 8. The new operating system was released for general availability on October 26, 2012.
Previously enabled with Windows 7, these Touch Dynamic products can now be ordered with Windows 8, featuring capabilities including better security and faster boot times. The security on Windows 8 tackles both viruses and spyware, as well as offers less intrusive updates. The boot times of Windows 8 start up twice as fast as Windows 7 according to tests.
The Orion Performance was designed specifically for POS applications unlike any other server class PC on the market. It is equipped with an abundance of I/O ports including 5 serial ports, up to 10 USB 2.0 ports and 4 powered USB ports. The Breeze Performance AIO is a powerful All-in-One touch terminal offering extreme CPU performance. It is available with a 15” or 17” touch display and features that include up to 16 GB of memory, projected capacitive (all glass) touch, RAID and on board printer power.
