How Touch Dynamic’s New Warehouse is Powering the Future

Touch Dynamic is committed to serving you better and more efficiently, which is why we have added a 16,000 sq. ft. warehouse expansion to our headquarters in South Plainfield, NJ. This expansion supports our mission to provide an excellent customer experience and streamline our operations.

 

Expanded Space for an Expanding Business

As Touch Dynamic continues to grow, so does our need for a larger, more efficient workspace. We have outgrown our original headquarters, which seemed impossible when we first moved in in 2017. However, due to an increased demand for our products and services, we had an urgent need for more space. We have a greater need for increased storage capacity to improve inventory management, expedite order fulfillment, and seek out more ways to serve our channel partners.

 

What This Expansion Includes

The new warehouse space will contain updated warehouse management supplies, logistics, and inventory systems to keep our operation up-to-date with the latest best practices. This will improve workflow, accelerate order processing & shipping times, and decrease lead time. 

In addition to the 16,000 sq. ft. addition, our office and production areas will also be getting an upgrade. We are currently adding new office suites to accommodate our growing team, and expanding the production area to keep up with our demand. These enhancements will ensure that our team has all the resources they need to keep providing excellent service and innovating upon our products.

 

Timeline for Completion

We began construction on the expansion in September 2024, and we have made massive strides since then. The new building addition was sealed up in January, officially making the space usable. (Fun Fact: our new warehouse floor took a total of 36 cement trucks to fill up our new space!) Although new racking will be installed in March, we’ve already started using our new space.

Office space construction began in mid-January and is well on its way to completion. Once that is done, we’ll start on the production area, aiming to wrap up the whole project by the end of July. With these enhancements underway, we are on track to fully integrate our new spaces into our daily operations by mid-2025.

Additionally, greater stock availability means reduced waiting periods, ensuring that the products you need are ready when you need them. According to Warehouse Manager Johanson Philippe, “Expanding our warehouse facility will enhance handling, storage, and shipping processes, leading to reduced turnaround times.” He continues, “This expansion will alleviate congestion and improve overall operational efficiency, ultimately enabling faster order fulfillment and increased customer satisfaction.”

Beyond logistics, our office space upgrades will allow our customer support team to work more efficiently, ensuring that inquiries and concerns are addressed promptly. As we continue to grow, our commitment to outstanding service remains unwavering.
