Headquarters Expansion and RetailNOW Insights: Building Towards the Future and Embracing Industry Evolution
Dear Valued Partners,
I want to take a moment to share some exciting news developing here as the Touch Dynamic headquarters expansion begins, as well as reflect on a few key takeaways from this year’s RetailNOW conference in Las Vegas that will shape our path forward.
Breaking Ground For Our Future
This July, we embarked on a significant milestone in Touch Dynamic’s journey — breaking ground on an expansion that will transform our New Jersey headquarters. Our current facility, spanning 40,000 square feet, has been the backbone of our operations for years. However, as we continue to grow and evolve to meet the demands of our partners and their customers, it has become clear that we need more space to maintain the same level of service you are accustomed to.
The new construction will add 16,000 square feet to our existing building, doubling our warehouse space and increasing our production bandwidth. This expansion isn’t just about square footage; it’s about proactively preparing for continued growth. By the end of Q1 2025, when the construction is slated to conclude, we will be better equipped to support our growing product line, streamline logistics throughout our supply chain, and ultimately serve you more efficiently.
Additionally, this headquarters expansion represents our commitment to investing in people and infrastructure. This expansion will allow us to bring in new talent, enhance our operational capabilities, and ensure we remain at the forefront of our industry.
RetailNOW 2024 Insights: A Glimpse into the Future
This year’s RetailNOW, held in Las Vegas, was a conference for the books for Touch Dynamic. As always, the conference was a hub of energy and innovation, providing a platform for the retail IT channel to come together, share insights, and discuss the future of our industry.
One of the most significant takeaways from the event was the heightened focus on technology integration across all facets of the industry. The convergence of hardware, software, and services is no longer a trend — it’s a necessity. As businesses continue to adapt, seamless, integrated solutions are more critical than ever. This is an area where Touch Dynamic has always excelled. We recently released new devices that allow Android 13 and GMS connectivity. We continue to gain certifications with new ISV partners that empower Touch Dynamic to deliver solutions for emerging applications like kiosk self-service. This opens up OS offerings for our partners, allowing them to win more business and close more deals.
Another key theme from RetailNOW was the importance of collaboration and partnerships. Our industry’s challenges — navigating supply chain disruptions, adapting to new consumer behaviors, or leveraging emerging technologies — cannot be tackled in isolation. Building strong, collaborative relationships will be critical to our success. We are so pleased with our current relationships with our partners and would not be able to do what we do without their continued support. Due to them we have been honored with a Gold VAE for the last decade. We look forward to continuing our relationships with current partners and growing new ones along the way.
Chuck Price from NCC stated in The Art of Partner Enablement: Empowering VARs for Success panel, “Contracts are great but after they’re signed you put them in a drawer, and then it’s all about how you treat people.” At Touch Dynamic, we have always valued our partnerships, and we are committed to deepening these relationships as we navigate the road ahead to help them after closing deals and building bonds with customers.
Finally, the energy and optimism at RetailNOW were palpable. Despite the challenges of the past few years, our industry has a renewed sense of opportunity and growth. In a post-show article, Jim Roddy, President and CEO of RSPA, said, “Hardware manufacturers especially have experienced recent turbulence. Despite that fact, for the third consecutive year, nearly 170 vendors stepped up to exhibit at RetailNOW.”
We are proud to be one of those vendors and plan to expand our efforts to innovate, support our partners, and lead the way in providing the solutions that help their customers leverage technology for increased productivity and revenue growth.
Looking Ahead
As we look to the future, I am more confident than ever in the direction Touch Dynamic is heading. The headquarters expansion is a physical manifestation of our growth and ambition, but the insights and relationships we cultivate — like those at RetailNOW — truly drive our success. I want to thank our partners for your continued support over the last 23 years. Together, we are building something remarkable, and I am excited about the journey ahead.
Sincerely,
Craig Paritz, CEO
